This is my 8th year of teaching science at HMS. I am a true science geek and love working with excited, inquisitive students. I am sure that soon you will all be Science Ninjas too!!

I am married to a wonderful man, Tim.  We have 3 kids and 6 grandkids, two dogs, and 3 cats. We love to go camping all over the beautiful state of Tennessee.  I love to read and my favorite book is Watership Down, which I read in high school for a literature class.  Yes, it is still my favorite book even after all these years.

I attended Motlow State Community College and then received my Bachelor's of Science from Tennessee Tech. I earned my Master's of Education in Curriculum and Instruction of Science from the University of Massachusetts in 2012.
